Bone Chilling...

The Badlands region of central Alberta is known by some first nations as "place of night spirits" and coincidentally, it makes for some of the best nightscape photography of anywhere in the world. Recently, I was given a tip about an abandoned turn of the century factory turned farm equipment boneyard - and I immediately knew I had to check it out.

When we arrived, the site was eerie, serene, and beautiful. Coyotes howled in the mist, the moon flickered behind cloud cover like a dying candle, and the wind howled in a way that would make you think you heard a ghost.

It still chills my bones to look at these pictures.
