My first Harley was a 2007 Wide Glide. It was made to fly in the wind and I blazed a ton of late night trails in those days. One night i noticed a pile of rubble in a field, so I pulled over to find what was left of an abandoned brick factory. It kind of sparkled in the moonlight, so I decided to photograph it. Then I looked up and saw the stars like I had never seen them before, they looked back at me as intently as fans in the cheap seats at a Yankees game. I decided to photograph them too.
Then it hit me like a freight train; my camera could see things that I myself could not see - and that friends, is how this story began.
Now days i'm a nocturnal menace. I take pictures and i don't take prisoners. I've been arrested 4 times for trespassing, scaled hundreds of barbed wire fences, i've been berated by crankyfarmers (so far, 3 had rifles), i've spent dozens of nights lost in the middle of nowhere, i once had to fend
off a black bear with my tripod, and i'm a student of livestock whispering - because you do what you have to do to get the shot and because beauty hides in the night.
Throughout my adventure; i've realized that finding the beauty of the night isn't always easy, but there is a ton of beauty waiting for you in the darkness.
Thank you very much for visiting and if you'd like to buy some artwork, myself and my team are always happy to help.
Peace.
