Celestial Memories.

I grew up in Fort Macleod Alberta where my Dad was a photography teacher on the nearby Blood Reserve. It was one of the most beautiful parts of the world that I've seen, but the region has been getting hammered in the media for the past few years.

Anyway, In summers we would explore the local backroads and parks. We used to especially love going to this campground in the summertime; I would catch minnows while Mom and Dad fed a family of stray farm cats that had taken up residence in the area. Last week, feeling kind of nostalgic; I decided to head back to the area with my own clan. We hikedthrough a half mile of chest-high brush in the middle of the night to find that the cats and minnows were long gone, but the stars were still there. It was pretty special to stand in the exact same spot as I had stood 30 years prior, watching the very same stars - only this time with my own little guys. Check back soon for artist proofs.
