Diffuse Aurora are a astronomical condition that happened more that one would know.  The sky lights up in a way that genterates the dimmest of green glows, yet the light is not visible to the human eye.
 
"I captured this shot a few nights ago, almost entirely by accident.  I was planning to capture a sharp angle close up shot of an old work truck, but when I double checked I found that the sky was glowing with green aurora boreal electricity. Once again, my camera could see things that I myself could not see, kind of like Ghosts in the Night..."
