The Milky Way galaxy is one of the most photogenic regions of the sky, unfortunately it only comes visible for a few months per year.
I captured this image last month, it was my first such image of the year and I found myself overcome with joy because I know that I had an entire summer of Milky Way chasing ahead of me.
